Although people looking for a US credit card are interested in a variety of features and services, the one aspect that most people want more than anything else is a card with low interest. After all, the amount of interest charged plays a significant role in how well the balance can be managed. In fact, a US credit card with high interest could be detrimental to a person’s credit score in the case of overspending or financial mismanagement.
The good news is that finding low interest US credit cards is not difficult. In fact, all of the primary credit card companies and banks have several different options. However, just as you would when looking for other features, it is most important that you understand interest charged during the introductory period, the length of this period, the Annual Percentage Rate after the introductory period, the minimum and maximum interest that would be charged, etc.
You would also want to know if a different interest would be charged for account balance transfers or other functions. In the case of finding low interest US credit cards, taking time to read the fine print is essential in that sometimes, critical information is strategically placed, making it hard to find.
